New Idea

For my site- specific project I have been set onto a new idea that I think works a lot better than my organ idea. Instead of working with paper and cratering a sculpture to represent the descent into the never world between heaven and hell. I now want to create a waiting room to represent limbo and to be a part of my work. From this my work will become a performance per instead of paper installation.

Why? As myself and my group or working to the theme the divine comedy this new idea is a great link to the book and the theme. As well as where I want to set my performance Is a well-chosen area to be an interdiction to the exhibition.

From this image, I hope to try and explain where I want to set up my performance work and why I think it’s a great area to work in with my idea. Where you can see the step’s at the back of this image that is where the visitors will be entering the exhibition space. Form there point of view my pes will be the first that they will see. I want them to take a ticket form the ticket dispenser and then wait for now more than a minute and a half the their number will be show which in turn they come then move onto the rest of the exhibition.

During this time I will be sat at the waiting area all day without interacting with to public or anyone I know, for me the idea is that the public can come and go at the due time where I can’t there for I am stuck in limbo will they understand it I am unsure?. I know this will be hard but I am very confident that I could do it.
