New Development

Two week’s before the dead line for the site-specific project is due, myself and 2 other from my group had discovered that the room that we were setting up our exhibition was being painted. This can as a blow to myself and my group as we were working around the atmosphere of the vault. The owner was very apologetic and didn’t realize to the colour tied into the exhibition. But within the hour myself, Ole and Jordan come to an idea to use the lighting of the Vault, which we could set to red and use the white walls to reflected the red around the room we found this to be very affective and happy with that the result. This saved all our ideas and saved to atmosphere we are trying to incaropered into the Vault.

I had a group meeting with my lecture where I had to explain my idea to him. This idea of wanting to create is a sculptor that would be crafted out of paper to represent the tonal between heaven and hell or hell and earth with No Sign’s Vault as the cusp of hell, as myself and my group are working to the theme of donates inferno. My lecture asked if it would be a refinance to limbo an I said “in some way yes” which I am glad he gathered. With that my lecture opened a new window of operetta for the group exhibition. Had I been over complicating my idea? The answer is yes I had been, by wanting to be creative and hand’s which a bad thing isn’t but with a limited time my work would have suffered. It would of been rushed and possible might not of been as effective as I had hoped. With this coming to light now I can do what I need to do in order to come up with and new perspective to my work. To do this I what to take a farther look into Limbo, Purgatory, and performance artists.
